Where did I say I hated this game? Where have I said this game sucks? That's right they had 2 series, Nintendo had 30 years of characters, plus those of other franchises and many of the characters that could have been put in where not included (such as Toad for example) so that's not really an excuse not to have more characters in it. Smash Bros... good but could be just a wii bit better
Ok I have been working a lot, but finally I am back, and got a chance to play ssbb on a friends WII. A great game (I never said it wasn't going to sell or be good) however here are somethings that I think would have improved it over all.
1) No voice chat....what the heck is up with this, I mean we are in an age which this should be automatically included, it would make it far more interesting, I know Nintendo wants to keep things family friendly, but come on.

Well it seems, that the home application of sony may not be as great as some people have hyped it up to be. It has received lots of high scores across the board, even for the multi-player options and everything, so far I haven't heard anything that bad, minor things, but nothing that would distract from the actual game itself. DMC4 20 minute wait
Well we get one of the more anticipated games of 2008 for the 360/ps3, a great series if you take out the DMC2. So what do the makers of this series do for the PS3....oh make it a 20 - 22 minute load up time before you can even play the game, so installing 5 gigs right you would think it would make the load time near non existant? If 3rd party devs can come up with good ways of using the Wii capabilities (sorry but the motion sensing stuff, tends to suck on the PS3 as well for other devs)then yes, the WII will be more than just a novelty, but if they can't and they decide not to lose money on it, then that's what it will become, a novelty and a place for mario and friends to be played on, outside of that no serious good games will be on there. In the month of november the PS2 still outsold PS3, xbox nearly doubled it's sales compared to the PS3 and well Wii we all know pretty much outsold everyone, well not pretty much it did. However COD 4 which is on both PS3 and 360, it sold over 2 million units, 1.57 million units on the 360, 444,000 units on the PS3, this is a must have unit, there is something else lacking on the PS3. Spike TV's Video Game Awards
Well so far Halo 3 has won Multi-player game of the year and most addicting game of the year, still has Game of the Year (along with Bioshock, Mass Effect and the Orange Box) and so far best graphics category doesn't even have a PS3 game in it.....or a Wii game for the matter. If it has perfected it, well it isn't in the game section. From what I have found, PS3 has 6, 9 or higher rated games, which are the following, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Vegas, Elder Scrolls, Rock Band, Assassin's Creed and COD 4....of all of those.....1 is an exclusive the rest multi-platform.

If you look at all of the Wii's bigggest selling games, only 2 are are third party developed, Red Steel and Rayman, and both are on the low spectrum of 1 million, the rest are all nintendo developed, looking at these stats, as a developer would you want to develop for this system? I don't think WII will win over all, I don't mean by just sheer numbers, as it's appeal is really broad appeal, with that in mind the developers usually (but not always) make the games with this is mind, and certain games lose their appeal when to trying to make it easy/good for everyone, the average overall game score for Wii games is 6.5, it has only 3 games that score 9 or higher, the 360 has 11 games 9 or higher, and there are even more games with 7.5 or higher rating than on ... His statement was that it sold 10 million copies in japan alone in 10 hours, it didn't, it sold a total of 1,926,000 in it's first four days, that includes that 1.5 million per orders (again this is still extremely well but falls short of the 10 million in 10 hours in japan alone). yeah 10 million copies in 10 hours really? Strange because in japan in 4 days it sold 1.9 million only (still extremely well but still 8 million short of your 10 in 10 hours) Now final fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 combine had 10 million in sales sure, but not in 10 hours in japan alone.

yeah the games
There are a few exclusives for all the consoles, MSG 4 no doubt will outsell next year for sure, and final fantasy, eh it will sell but eh? 360 gets lost odyssey (made with the creator of the final fantasy series), there is mass effect, Kingdom under fire, Ninja Gaiden 2 and a few others, both systems will have some great games and many not so great games coming out next year. it's all about the games
That's it, it's not like i only own the 360. I have them all except the WII and the gameboy platforms. I just like playing the games, sure PC is more powerful in the long run, but you have to upgrade your PC everytime a new Video Card comes out if you want to be with the lastest tech and graphics. Well for one week at least it outsold the PS3 in Japan....not by a huge number only by 239 machines, but still, beat them by 1 machine or by 1000 it's still means the 360 out did the PS3 :P

the PSX failure he is talking about isn't the original Playstation but another machine that sony called the PSX, which was a media centre, digital recorder, DVD recorder all based on the PS2 console, it failed miserably. it's a shame so far
It's true, sony has dropped the ball so much, GTA4 they should have kept this exclusive, but they didn't, and it wasn't like Microsoft approached Rockstar, Rockstar approached Sony first, since sony didn't do anything, they went multi-platform. Lets see the straight facts, Halo ain't dying anytime soon, Halo Wars is next and there is another Halo project in the works. How is less competition going to drop prices? what's the incentive if there is less competition? PS3 does have some major titles coming to it, GTA IV however is multi-platform.
