Not changing Much is the Key

I see what you saying but at the time not changing does not mean it wont live up too its hype, in reality it could possibly just be a updated version of melee with a few extra stuff including online play as you say, but some times just updating a game pays off , if fans know exactly what their getting it means many wont be are disapointed if something was drasticly changed, for example a SF going to 3D, its just not the same, not the best of examples but theres other games what try and ... You forgot FF 13 and litle big planet, though, 2 other big titles to add to the list, the 360 will get gears of War 2 but thats just one other big game they got to get hyped about,but its a shame a game like DMC 4 didnt stay single platform, as DMC was PS born, but never mind, it will still rock on both systems.

Sorry, still not a fad

Was the d-pad a fad? How about the analog stick? Rumble? Shoulder buttons? Nope. All these were made or popularized by Nintendo and they are now all standard features on most controllers. How about the DS touch-screen? Many people were screaming `FAD` and we all know how that turned out. The Wii control scheme is just another evolution in controller design and will most likely become standard in the future.

At the moement there is not much going on with the PS3, but there will be very soon, so my advice to you is hold out a bit longer, you'll even benefit from lower prices also if you do, at the moement the 360 is a great console, so its really up to you

The PS3 may be lacking some killer games right now  and you are right, most games so far Sony have hyped up have been disappointing from what Iv heard, but don't forget Haze is PS3 exclusive, and there is no denying the game actually looks the business, FF 13 is coming, GT5 again another game which will be a hit, and it has just been announced that epic and the guy behind metal gear games, hideo kojima are working on an exclusive PS3 game, what a combinernation, Im sure that will be ...
