This proves that Nintendo's new system is going to be main stream and be very successful. Cnet is a mainstream technology site with many visitors. The hype, previously only by the Nintendo fanboys, is now spreading to the general population.
This is exactly what Nintendo needs for the Wii to succeed. While Sony and Microsoft fight for the hardcore gaming crowd, Nintendo is going to come up from behind and beat them in overall sales by expanding the gaming market. People who have never played a video game system before will be enjoying the games on the Wii.
The Wii needs to be on major, mainstream web sites and mainstream media (magazines, tv shows, etc). Once people get their hands on the Wii, they'll definitely want to buy one.
