Pro: Nintendo Wii

Less Power Than Xbox, Does It Really Matter?
All this talk recently about the Wii not having as much graphical power as even the original Xbox doesn't change the fact that the Wii is decimating 360 and PS3 in the sales charts. It seems like consumers have made their choice, more fun > more power.
Besides the fact that the 'information' that the Wii is less powerful than the original Xbox came from someone at Microsoft, it obviously doesn't matter. Well, it doesn't matter to the people actually making the purchasing decisions. I believe Microsoft is just a little upset that their 360, with its full library of games, is being outsold by a 'less graphical machine.'
Graphics have come to a point where it doesn't matter anymore, you can get your point across just fine with the technology in the Wii. We can tell what everything is in a game, whether it's on a PS3 or a Wii. 'Realistic' graphics aren't needed, or necessarily even wanted by most consumers. Only videophiles will complain about the lack of detail and high-definition.
Is there still room for graphical improvement? Sure, but it doesn't do gamers any good if most of the time and money spent on games is involved with making the title look pretty versus making the game fun and innovative.
