I think you've got your head in the clouds or something, but come one, you think you were instant pro at goldeneye? Learning curves are not a bad thing, and everything takes getting used to. Play the game for more than 10 minutes and don't base your entire argument on one game.
Far cry, for instance, allows players to hold A and lock the screen in place, so you can scratch your nose or what not.
In addition to all of that, every game has a pause menu! Whoah! Does this mean you can PAUSE the game to scratch your nose? Hot Damn, sign me up.
