ps3 v.s xbox 360

Before I give my reviews and opinions on both systems I would like to let all the readers know that Im no fanboy.

                                              PS3 v.s Xbox 360

The PS3 are two very different machinery in terms of specs and believe me I know this stuff because I assemble computers. In the specs department the PS3 win a head over the 360. If you say otherwise your a moron. Its just that simple, Sony spend billions of dollars to contruct a new processing system (The Cell) while microsoft takes it easy and pick up an upcoming sytem thats one of the reasons that make their sytem cheaper. Though as many of us know cheaper isnt always better because the PS3 delivers 1080p at an incredibaly smooth rate,  not saying that the xbox 360 is any worst, which brings me to my next category hdtv compatability. I have to give my vote to sony again because they came out with 1080p compatibility from the beginning ( my toshiba 65 inch tv being one reason). For those of you who bought an xbox early before the elite cant even hook up you system for the best picture if you own a 1080p hdtv. Face it for those who have seen 720p signal on a 1080p hdtv, the picture looks like one of those old crt tvs(not good at all). Its just a waste of my tv thats all. In other terms for those who cant afford a 1080p tv the xbox is the right choice for you.Lets move on to games. Crearly the xbox 360 owns this category(at least for now). With games like Gears of War, Project Gotham Racing and all those online minigames, some my favorites, You cant go wrong with the 360. The only thing about this is that the game market changes very rapidly and this is just the beginning. To add Sony promises big things in the future and if those come out then microsoft has a long battle. Ive recently heard that sony is working with rockstar to come out with a game so big that it cant fit on a regular dvd.This is the mistake microsoft made when coming out with a regular dvd drive for the 360. Blu-ray is just 5x bigger then a regular dvd disk and can take 5x as much content. Of course you can put the memory space required in the xbox 360 harddrive. But how long is that going to last 3 maybe 4 games with no space for anything else. You could always buy a 360 hd dvd drive seperately but now its the same price as the PS3. God knows if that drive even reads games and if you say that you could always buy a bigger harddrive. I heard people say that Sony is mooching off of people but if you buy all of those things your going to pay nearly twice as much as the PS3.

Though it seems that Im a fanboy I say that I just prefer the PS3 and say its a better value and will last longer then the xbox 360. Even though I leave a chance for both companies to excell at what they do best.
